Our Super Heavy Duty Tapered Fireplace Grates are built from 3/4 inch thick solid square bar steel for extreme durability. Stove and fireplace grates like these lift firewood up off the bottom of the stove to improve airflow to the fire. Their all-steel construction is designed to outperform their low quality cast-iron counterparts.

Top notch quality! This is the second heavy duty fireplace grate we have ordered from SteelFreak and not because the first one failed! The original is still going strong, but we moved to a new home and first thing the new fireplace needed was a real grate, as we modified the poor gas installation back to the original wood burning!
